Southeast Ohio Fiberworks
That’s me with the llama named Angel! I founded Southeast Ohio Fiberworks to provide small batch hand-dyed yarn to knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners, and felters. Right now, all my yarns are sourced from mass market suppliers, and I hand-dye them with acid dyes here in Athens. I hope to experiment with plant pigments for natural dyed wool and cotton yarns this winter 2022-23.
I offer my hand-dyed yarn and other wool products for sale at Art Guild events, such as the Holiday Art Market, local festivals and through my website.
In addition, I work with regional partners to establish a fiber hub to create value for Southeast Ohio wools. As we develop that supply, we will begin to offer small batch and unique yarns, roving for felting or spinning, and other wool products to fiber artists in or around Southeast Ohio and the world.
